With her more than two decades of experience in the service contract and warranty space, Dawn has never lost sight of the customer. She held roles within Client Services, Contact Center, and Operations before becoming President of one of Bankers Financial Corporation’s most competitive business lines. Her extensive experience has allowed her to gain a unique insight into emerging trends and opportunities within the industry.
In 2016, Dawn was named a Finalist within the Financial Services category for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s BusinessWoman of the Year Award. She was also recently awarded a Bronze level Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year in Consumer Services for a company with 11 to 2,500 Employees. Away from the office, you can spot Dawn wearing the red, orange, and pewter to support her Tampa Bay Bucs on NFL Sundays.
Jeff Karfonta has been with Centricity since May of 2007. With over 22 years of financial and accounting experience, he leads the financial operations of Centricity by focusing on cost savings and strategic planning and execution. Having held various senior management positions within the financial services industry over his career, Jeff is able to leverage his financial expertise in streamlining procedures and providing Centricity with solid financial platforms and strategies.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Steve has been with Centricity since 2016, bringing his 21 years of experience in the homebuilding and construction industries to his current role. With his deep knowledge of the manufacturing and distribution segments of the business, Steve has overall responsibility for the business development and sales direction of the company. Steve has been a member of the NAHB for 20 years and the FHBA for 12 years.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in International Business from Cornell College, where he was a 4-year letterman in football and baseball. His expertise on the diamond comes in handy for the 60+ youth baseball games he coaches each year. If you love seafood, ask Steve about his last outing diving for lobsters in the Florida Keys.
Successfully leading the product development and risk management areas at Centricity, Roger Lange brings 35 years of management experience in underwriting, contracting, new business, customer service, claims and systems operations within the insurance, warranty and financial service industries.
Roger holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Life Insurance from the College of Insurance in New York City and has earned designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Jocelyn started at Centricity in 2016 and has spent her entire career in business development, including the last four years within the service contract industry. In her new strategic role, she is focused on innovation and new concept development. Jocelyn also leads top-tier partnerships, develops go-to market strategies, and executes new programs for Centricity.
A nationally-recognized innovation leader and speaker, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing from the University of Arizona. Jocelyn loves to travel and has lived in five countries including Cyprus, Greece, and Singapore. It’s not surprising with all of her experience living near water, she loves swimming and boating with her family.
Mike has been with Centricity since 2013, targeting all of its offered product lines. He’s driven by four guiding principles – taking care of the customer, building strong relationships, focusing on growth, and always delivering on what you promise. Mike has over 15 years of experience in the retail service contract industry, beginning career at VAC Service Corp.
In his free time, Mike is a little league baseball coach and will travel anywhere for a Mets game or a McCartney concert.
Justin Miller has over 10 years of industry experience, beginning his career at Centricity as a Claims Agent and quickly working his way up to Director of Operations. Focusing on process improvement and training, Justin manages the day-to-day operations and functioning for Centricity, including the oversight of claims and customer service for the company.
Extremely active in his community, Justin serves as a volunteer for the Youth Development Foundation of Pinellas County and the YMCA, is on the Steward Board of Mount Zion AME, and is a member of the Urban League of Young Professionals, Association for Talent Development and the FSU Alumni Association. Justin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Communication with a Minor in Political Philosophy from Florida State University.
Starting her career at Centricity in February of 2014 as a Marketing Specialist, Kelsey Cowan quickly worked her way up to Marketing Manager, responsible for all marketing and communications for both the service contract and warranty businesses of Centricity.
Kelsey stays active in her community through her memberships with Tampa Bay Business Journal Elite, St. Petersburg Young Professionals, Children’s Cancer Center and the Tampa Bay Humane Society. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication – Culture and Media from the University of South Florida (USF). A proud alumni of USF, Kelsey was the in-game experience host and emcee for USF Baseball and Men’s and Women’s Basketball.
Having been at Centricity for the past eight years, Itzi Padgett has served in a variety of roles, including: Claims/Service Agent, Claims Team Lead, Claims Supervisor and Operations Supervisor. Her extensive experience in client services and vendor relations includes leadership roles at Geico, SAP Consulting and Capital One.
Born and raised in Spain, Itzi is active in her community, volunteering for Metropolitan Ministries and PARC. She holds a PCA 620 license in Florida and has her certified insurance license in 42 states.
